1:57 am	Here we go. 2008 Fresh year, long list. I hope this year will be better then last and that I can succeed in all my goals and projects for this year. 1. Project F.A.Y.E.D. / Improve art skill [Importance: Medium] Personal drawing project to improve, expand my variety in drawing and also to draw for others 2. Lose weight in real life [Importance: Medium] I'm far too self conscious sometimes, but I think I have a bit of pudge that I could stand to lose. Plus I'd like to be reasonably healthy. 3. Relearn French [Importance: Low] It's not entirely important but I'd like to expand my French base to improve my resume, plus it'd help if I got out to Quebec again. 4. Relearn Guitar [Importance: Low] Would be nice to be able to play again/play some songs I really like. 5. Study more and read more [Importance: High] I really should study more for school and I'd like to read more to expand my knowledge and culture. 6. MFF/save money for specific things [Importance: High] I've got to get to MFF again, and I have a few things I've got to have money together for in advance (Games {Burnout Paradise, S.S.B.B., etc.}, School {books, etc.} Other, etc.) 7. Get Driver Licence: G2 [Importance: Medium] It'd be useful and I'd greatly help when we're headed to MFF but it's not TOTALLY necessary. So those are my main 7 goals for this year. 11:55 pm	Post MFF Update (Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Con) After stressing about essays and plans and rides and rooms and everything it finally came together enough that we got down there and places to sleep and spend time at the con. Time that was far too short to see so many awesome people. Thank you to everybody who was cool and spent time with me, even if it was only a few moments I'm glad I got to see all of you. Some of the people I got to meet and/or hug were (In no specific order): Sky, Garral, Tolstoy, DragoMike, Giran, Mr. Lean, Ember, Tombfyre, Dayken, Don, Raccoon Drew, Unknown Wolf, Likeshine, Odendo, Duncan, Specs, Blimp Wolf, Ollis, Nik, Gir, Ed, Spyke, and more.... forgive me if I've forgotten you but there were so many of you in so little time =<. Saturday night's dinner time was sucky (For being "All American Food" A&W was far better in Canada....where it.. .y'know...started....Though maybe because it was "All American" that's why it tasted like McDonald's chemicals =V). But apart from the confusion, mediocre dinner and feeling abandoned when everyone pretty much vanished (FAILBOAT). Everything else rocked....except for the times when people had to leave =<. The love and lulz that bounced around made all the cramming for essays and all nighters and hectic planning and last minute problems all worth it. Also very glad I brough the Wii. Warioware + Highest speed setting is usually lulz just for watching someone try to keep up. Add Smooth Moves and it's funny watching someone's body flail in attempt to survive the game..... Add Mr. Lean and his astounding ability to lose all structure in the joints of his arms (probably because of SCIENCESCIENCESCIENCE) and the laughter factor just like explodes exponentially. XD Much love to Sky for being our driver and hopefully next year Garr and I'll get our licences so you don't get so destroyed ^^;. It was so weird being back home and then going to class today as if it didn't happen... it all felt so surreal. but then I realized that it all felt so connected and weird because it really did happen. I miss you all already and am already trying to plan for next year because I'm a maniac. (Sidenote: Any Recommendations for a partial fursuit? I'm looking to get one for next year) Also beat Lumines II 100%. YAY! Though... Apparently I couldn't escape it happening again this year.... I don't think Sky or Garr caught it at the time.... 1:10 am	Christmas drawing close So I've told my parents I don't want a Wii for Christmas because it's getting ridiculous trying to get one and they're probably going to release more colours and stuff next year. Stuffs been annoying and frustrating around here. It's getting close to my break though. Tuesday I have my Sociology exam and Wednesday I'll have my Psychology exam then I'll be done until next year. Things I'd like for Christmas. 1. A scarf (like I asked for my birthday). A nice, long, warm scarf. Preferably 5ft+ in length 2. I've been collecting the B-movie card games ( http://www.zmangames.com/cardgames/index.htm and scroll down). I've ordered in Kung Fu Samurai and once I get that the only two I'll need are Cannibal Pygmies and Scurvy Musketeers. Those two or some money to pay for Kung Fu Samurai would be awesome. 3. A sketchbook (100 pages) for a project I'd like to do It's not a long list and it's not confined to this but this is what I can think of. Thanks for reading. 12:00 pm	Rants. Because I'm ticked. Rant 1: North Korea and nuclear arms NK. Seriously. What the fuck. Why do humans feel the need to spend millions of dollars on these big missiles that if anyone decides to fire one we're all doomed? There's no positive to having nuclear arms. You just make everyone mad and look like a jerk. Rant 2: Comments and Replies If you want someone to know something about their artwork then say it. If someone volunteers to do some art for a project (especially if they're not getting paid for it) You should at least acknowledge their entusiasm and charity to offer their time. Not saying anything makes someone feel like they're not even worth the time of day and makes you look like a jerk. I'm not saying you should say "LOL UR ART SUKS." Say something like "I don't think your style is quite what I'm looking for in a submission. Thank you for offering to participate though." It's not hard to have some freaking tact.
